The Australian Endurance Karting Association

Endurance karting started in the UK in the early part of the 1990’s. Endurance karting then began in Australia a few years on.
Endurance events are usually for a minimum of 4 hours and can be as long as 24 hours of continuous racing!
The ruling for karts that run twin engines in the teka series are powered by two 6.5hp Honda motors or 2 Briggs & Stratton Animal engines.
The twin engined gokarts achieve speeds in excess of 100 kph. With strict ruling on engines & karts it keeps the cost down with reliability & good driving skills about the only thing separating the teams
